No matter how brilliantly you live your life, no matter how well you flourish, that is but a fleck of time in the overall existence. Even if you try turning your back to the death, even if you are so arrogant as to scoff at the weak who fell behind you, they pull at you with their messengers of crop-consuming pestilence.
Truthfully that is what the life of a rose flower is like. They're known for blooming beautifully and used as wholesome decor... but how long does it last? This could be attributed to our lives as well. We laugh and spit in death's face and we turn our backs to it, but in the end are we not destined for that as well?
So here's another picture I took that is probably a mockery to photography due to its bright flash. Yes I wanted the bright flash, but meh it's probably VERY bad and un-artistic.
=3 I like it. And I promise I'm not just saying that because it's the first thing you've posted in forever. XD I also enjoyed reading the analogy (er, at least I think that's what it was, or was supposed to be >->; ) that you wrote in the artist's comments space. *nods* Yes, I do take the time to read those. ^-^ Its nice to read something from someone with views very similar to mine, lol only written more eloquently.
^-^ You're welcome. And yes. I always read the comments. I know it pisses me of when I get people asking me stupid questions that would have been answered had they just taken the time to read my damn comments. . . so I figure the least I can do is read other's in return. Plus, I get curious. X3
And yes, I think it was eloquent. Much more so than how I would have spewed it on the page/screen.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
